orientation programme is mandatory to attend and
cannot be changed, please be punctual.
1st DAY
MONDAY, 01 FEB 2010
09:00 Assemble in Hall Nos. NC – 1 , 2 , 6 & 7 New
campus
09:15 – 10:30 DOCUMENTS
CHECK
Please bring original
alongwith 02 attested copies of your documents (Bachelor/HSSC/ ‘A’ Level). You will not be able to
register for classes, if you
don’t submit these documents.
10:30 – 11:00 COURSE REGISTRATION
You will be provided
with the requisite registration forms.
Please fill in the same and return to your course coordinator
after signatures.
11:00 – 11:30 GET YOUR ID SLIPS
Please bring 01 recent
photograph (1” x 1”). You are required to fill-in the blank slip, paste your
photograph and submit
at the office of Deputy
Director (A & C) for signatures. No student will be allowed to enter the
premises of the University
without ID slip. Permanent
ID cards will only be issued upon return of this Temporary ID slip.

1000 ADMINISTRATIVE STRUCTURE OF THE UNIVERSITY
The Deputy Director
(A & C) will brief you about the administrative structure,
students
conduct & discipline and some of DOs and DON’Ts
1010 ACADEMIC & EXAMINATIONS RULES
Every thing you need
to know about academics at the University.
Deputy
Director (Academics) will
brief you about the rules for academics & examinations
and
scholarships policy. You will also be apprised on plagiarism, using unfair
means
and various academic penalties.
1035 NON ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
You can come to this session and learn
how to take advantage of all the
University offers you. The Programme Officer (SRC) will brief you on extra
curricular and non academic activities including
various event clubs and procedure
for registration as a member of SRC. You will also be informed about the community
services programme.
1050 LIBRARY RULES
The Library Officer
will tell you about using the library and rules for issuance of the
books
and other online facilities available.

0930 ADVISING ON DEPARTMENTAL PROCEDURES (Venue Presentation Hall)
This session will enable you to
clarify your queries on your course work for the upcoming
semester. Your Head
of the Department will dwell upon the issues pertaining to course
work, Lab work, projects, faculty members,
field visits and arranging seminars/workshops etc.
1015 CONDUCTED TOUR OF THE UNIVERSITY
After completion of the HODs address,
you will be offered a conducted tour of the campus,
where the senior students would physically
show you the class rooms, library, laboratories,
lecture theaters, presentation hall, common
areas and cafeteria etc.
WELCOME DINNER
Welcome
dinner/freshmen night will be held in the evening of 20th February
2010 at campus.
